Kraken US fees: instant buy, Kraken Pro and sending XRP

Kraken publishes its prices. An instant buy in the Kraken app costs 1% plus a spread that is part of the quoted price, and selling costs the same again: $10.00 on a $500 XRP purchase and sale, plus the spread. Kraken Pro charges 0.40% for maker orders and 0.80% for taker orders at the entry tier; the same $500 roundtrip with taker orders cost $8.00 on October 15, 2026, spread of the order book included. ACH deposits and withdrawals are free. The calculator starts with Kraken Pro, the cheaper of the two paths.

    Selling costs the same again

    Kraken charges a sale like a purchase: 1% on an instant sale, the maker or taker rate on Kraken Pro. Our $500 example therefore adds both legs.

  • 12.05 XRP

    Sending XRP starts at 12.05 XRP

    A withdrawal of XRP costs 0.05 XRP and needs at least 12.05 XRP including the fee. Small amounts stay on Kraken until you have enough to send.
