Three numbers answer different questions
Net flow measures reported net additions to or withdrawals from funds over a period. Trading volume measures shares changing hands. Net assets reflect the value held by a fund and can change because the underlying price moves, even without new subscriptions.
A positive day of net flow is not a guaranteed rise in XRP’s price. Secondary-market turnover also does not mean every traded share caused a new token purchase. Read the measures together and keep their dates visible.
Compare funds on the source’s actual dates
The live tool uses SoSoValue’s US XRP fund universe and its aggregate and individual-fund history. Choose the aggregate or a fund to inspect reported daily flows. The fund table shows each fund’s latest available date rather than assuming every feed updated together.
A reported zero is displayed as zero; a missing value remains unavailable. The seven-calendar-day figure sums only the available reported dates in that window. Weekends, exchange holidays, delays, and corrections can affect what appears in the feed.
An XRP-equivalent calculation is an estimate
Dividing reported dollar net assets by a current XRP/USD quote gives an XRP-equivalent estimate. It is not an audited inventory of the tokens held by the funds. Cash, expenses, valuation policies, and different observation times can all affect that quotient.
For exact holdings or product terms, use the particular issuer’s current disclosure. Do not treat our aggregate estimate as a custodial attestation or a supply-locking measurement.
Buying shares is different from owning native XRP
An exchange-traded fund or trust gives exposure through a security with its own fees, market hours, liquidity and legal structure. Holding native XRP gives you an asset you can transfer on the ledger, with different custody responsibilities.
Read the prospectus for the specific product. Confirm whether it holds spot assets, derivatives, or another strategy and whether its share price can diverge from net asset value. A ticker and an exchange listing alone do not answer those questions.
A useful daily review
Look for changes across several reported sessions rather than one headline. Distinguish source corrections from actual new flows, and compare fund-level data with the aggregate. When the source is unavailable, check the provider directly before using an old screenshot.
- Record the latest source date, not only the page refresh time.
- Separate net flows from price-driven AUM changes.
- Read small or concentrated flows in context.
- Treat the holdings quotient as an explicitly timed estimate.
