A scenario exposes assumptions; it does not predict a result

The calculator retains CryptoTuts model v1.2, reviewed August 26, 2026, with three market-cap scenarios and a circulating-supply assumption for each year through 2030. It assigns no probabilities to those scenarios.

The scenario labels describe editorial cases, not guaranteed price ranges. The underlying assumptions may fail if demand, supply, regulation, market structure, or wider financial conditions differ from the case. A detailed table does not turn an opinion into a statistical forecast.

The original EUR assumptions are translated explicitly

The original model expresses market capitalization in euros. This English tool fetches a dated EUR/USD reference rate and converts each original market cap before dividing by the assumed XRP supply. It does not silently relabel a euro price as dollars.

The equation is USD price = EUR market cap × USD per EUR ÷ circulating XRP. The live starting quote is a separate XRP/USD last-trade observation from Kraken. An unavailable quote or exchange rate leaves that comparison unavailable rather than substituting a fabricated number.

Market cap and circulating supply drive the result

Market capitalization is price multiplied by circulating supply. It is not an estimate of how much new cash must be invested to reach that value. Market liquidity and the marginal traded price matter, so a market-cap difference cannot be interpreted as a cash inflow requirement.

The model’s assumed supply rises from 63.5 billion XRP in 2026 to 72.5 billion in 2030. These are model inputs, not a live measurement of future escrow releases or exchange balances. Compare those assumptions with later evidence before relying on the result.

Build a case you can challenge

Enter a USD market cap, circulating supply, and XRP quantity. The tool divides market cap by supply and multiplies the resulting price by your holdings. Where a current quote is available, it also shows the percentage difference.

For example, a $100 billion market cap and 50 billion circulating XRP imply $2 per XRP. Doubling the supply while leaving market cap unchanged halves the price. This is arithmetic illustrating sensitivity, not a forecast that either input will occur.

Keep the model’s review date visible

The original model’s next scheduled review is October 10, 2026. A later live quote or exchange rate does not mean the market-cap assumptions have been reviewed again. After that date, the calculator labels the assumptions as awaiting review.

Use a scenario to examine position size and downside as well as potential upside. Consider what evidence would invalidate your case and when you would reassess it. Fees, tax, slippage and the ability to sell a position are outside the simple holdings-value calculation.
